Classroom elections took place at the end of September to select classroom representatives for the Sandidge Student Council.  Each year the student council takes on activities that will enable students to reach out to others.  The members of student council must be dependable, responsible, good listeners, organized and able to make speeches in front of their peers!  The first and second grade rooms will have a 5^th grade representative assigned to each classroom.  This will allow all classes to participate in the monthly activities.  Our first project will be a food drive.  We will collect non-perishable items to donate to the Tinley Park Food Pantry from October 9 – October 24^th.  We look forward to a successful year of service opportunities!
